Green Mango Samosa recipe

Unbearable summer of India also has few advantages! 
Summer brings us different exotic fruits! Mango, is truly the King among tropical fruits! 
Raw or Green Mango, too has nice taste. 
Today I show you how you can eat this fruit in a snacks! 

Ingredients -

1 Big Green Mango (grated)

for filling -
500 g potatoes (boiled and mashed)
1 tsp cumin seed
2 tsp grated coconut
1 tsp chopped ginger 
2 tsp peanut
4-5 chopped green chili 
1/2 tsp red chili powder,
1 tsp cumin powder 
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste

for samosa shell -
500 g all purpose flour 
1 tsp sugar
100 ml white oil, 
2 pinch sodium bicarbonate
Method -
First, grate the green mangoes finely. 
Now prepare the filling. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seed, grated coconut, mashed potatoes, chopped ginger, peanut, grated mango, chopped green chili, red chili powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, salt to taste. Salt should be little much than usual, since Samosa skin doesn't have salt. 
Add Kasoori methi(dried fenugreek leaves)

Mix and cook well for few minutes. 
Now  the filling is ready

Now make the samosa shell. 
Mix well these 500 g all purpose flour, add 1 tsp sugar, 100 g white oil, 2 pinch sodium bicarbonate. Don't add salt! 
Now add warm water and knead to make a dough.
Make smaller balls from this dough. Spread these balls thinner with a rolling pin. Cut down the middle of the spreaded thinner sheet.
Fold it, like a cone. Brush water at the edges for better sealing. 
Now fill the stuffing. close and seal the edges.

Frying - 
Put on flame. Pour enough oil in a pan for deep frying. Don't wait for oil to become hot. put the raw samosas immediately into the oil. 
Let it fry slowly in simmer. Slowly, it'll turn golden brown color. 
Take it off the oil. 

Your Green Mango Samosa is ready. Serve it hot with chilled Green Mango Samosa Chutney
